Learning To Live Outside The Box

How many of you are stuck in a rut – living life each day on AUTOPILOT? Dreading each day when we wake up and head to a job that is only there to pay the bills.

Been there, done that. No wait, I’m still there and still doing it, but all that is about to change.

As a married, recently-turned 40 year old mother of two crazy kids (10 and 12) I declare TODAY the first day in my mission to learn to live life outside THE BOX.

 

What is THE BOX?

THE BOX is nothing more than your standard monotonous life that hundreds of thousands – scratch that – millions, of people live day in and day out. I am in THE BOX. With 40 years of my life gone, it is time for me to look ahead and develop a better, more fulfilling life for myself, my husband and my kids. I want out of THE BOX.

THE PLAN

Now, this is where things get a bit fuzzy for me, but I guess that is the reason I am starting this blog – to not only figure out my PLAN but to share my journey on the way.

My general PLAN includes this – figure out a way to get out of AUTOPILOT and to move toward FREEDOM TO DO. A simple enough concept, but there is a catch – I will need to bring in a steady income, no matter what phase I am in (more on that topic in the weeks to come).

But for today at least, I am happy that I have completed one step, as small as it may seem, by clearly stating that I am READY FOR CHANGE and I am READY TO GET TO WORK on mine and my families new future.
